Synopsis

Perth grandmother Shirley Affleck reflects on a life well-lived and the lessons learned along the way with her husband of 67 years.

Dean Ginsburg

Dean Ginsburg is an award-winning director with a passion for human stories. He has a strong visual eye and drive to create memorable narratives. Dean has written and directed numerous short film projects that have screened at 60 festivals across the globe. In 2014, Dean attended the Cannes Film Festival (Short Film Corner) with his short film Alone, which also received an award at Canada International Film Festival. In 2010 his short film Jodie won best foreign short film at the Mountain Film Festival, USA, and his film Flowers was selected as a finalist in the Bondi Short Film Festival in 2007. In the late 2000s he founded Sydney production company Symmetry Media and in 2016 he was a finalist in the ScreenACT Accelerator Lab. Dean is developing a slate of feature-length projects
